La Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales de Canarias se pone en funcionamiento el 26 de mayo de 2008 y ofrece ya unos 200 servicios información geográfica de las islas.

IDECanarias - GRAFCAN

La Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales de Canarias constituye un servicio gratuito que ofrece unos 200 servicios de mapas que el ciudadano puede consultar desde cualquier aplicación que lea los estándares definidos por el OGC, tales como WMS, WFS, etc. Los servicios más consultados son: Ortofotos, Callejeros, Mapa topográfico, Ordenación territorial y Fototeca.

Acceder al visor IDECanarias

Desde su nacimiento en 2008, IDECanarias dispone de un servicio de Catálogo de Metadatos y un visor de información geográfica sobre el que se publican dichos servicios y que soporta más de 6.000 sesiones diarias con una media de más de 7 millones de peticiones de imágenes al año.
