El Cabildo de Gran Canaria presenta la IDE de la isla

El pasado 28 de Abril, el Consejero de Política Territorial del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Excmo. Sr. D. Emilio Mayoral, presentó la Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales IDEGranCanaria que pone a disposición de sus usuarios la información básica y temática de la isla. De esta forma el Cabildo de Gran Canaria se adapta a la normativa europea INSPIRE y publica los servicios de mapas según los estándares que define el OGC con el objeto de hacer llegar la información «on-line» a cualquier organismo y poder combinarla con la que a su vez generen otras organizaciones.

El geoportal, entre otras funcionalidades, cuenta principalmente con un visor de mapas, un catálogo de servicios, permite la descarga de planes territoriales y ofrece tutoriales que explican cómo utilizar los servicios desde otras aplicaciones.
