La ACL y GRAFCAN siguen trabajando en el rescate de Toponimia en La Palma

El rescate de toponimia en la isla de La Palma lleva ejecutándose desde el año 2011 y se han recogido ya más de 15.000 topónimos. Las tareas de rescate de la toponimia se encuentran en el marco del convenio firmado entre Cartográfica de Canarias S.A (GRAFCAN) y la Academia Canaria de La Lengua para la recopilación y ampliación toponímica de las Islas. Se han terminado ya los trabajos de campo de diez municipios y actualmente se está trabajando en los cuatro restantes (El Paso, Breña Alta, Los Llanos y Garafía) para terminar toda la isla. Se estima que el rescate finalizará a lo largo del próximo mes de Julio y el trabajo se empezará a publicar en Septiembre – Octubre del presente año.
