Actualización del servicio de Especies Protegidas en IDECanarias

Se ha actualizado en IDECanarias el Mapa de Especies Protegidas  con la información existente en el Banco de Datos de Biodiversidad de Canarias de la Viceconsejería de Medio Ambiente del Gobierno de Canarias correspondiente al año 2013, es decir, la versión anterior tenía datos registrados (documentos, infromes, etc.) hasta el año 2011 y en la actual son datos de 2013. Ello significa que hay un aumento de información: informes, programas de seguimiento, nuevos artículos científicos, etc., sobre especies amenazadas, que se han registrado con sus distribuciones en el territorio. Tambien se han llevado a cabo revisiones taxonómicas, correcciones de ubicación de celdas en el territorio, etc. Cabe destacar que la actualización ha supuesto un aumento considerable en las especies marinas.

El servicio devuelve un informe sobre la distribución de las especies protegidas terrestres y marinas en la cuadríacula seleccionada, dicho informe se ha hecho según los criterios de precisión y confianza establecidos  por el Servicio de Biodiversidad de la Consejería.
