Visita de la Unidad Militar de Emergencias

El pasado lunes 19 de junio visitaron la sede de GRAFCAN en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria varios representantes de la Unidad Militar de Emergencias (UME) que fueron recibidos por el director de la empresa. Entre los asistentes se encontraban dos miembros de la UME desplazados a la Base Aérea de Torrejón (Madrid) y pertenecientes al Centro de Integración y Difusión de la inteligencia, así como representantes de la Base Aérea de Gando en Canarias.

El objeto de la visita fue, entre otros, conocer la información geográfica disponible de nuestras islas y muy necesaria para el desarrollo de su trabajo. Mostraron especial interés por el Modelo de Terreno LIDAR pues les aporta un conocimiento muy preciso del territorio acorde con sus necesidades y se puso de manifiesto la necesidad de coordinación entre ellos y la Consejería de Política Territorial, Sostenibilidad y Seguridad para establecer futuras líneas de trabajo y colaboración.
