Actualización del mapa de Especies Protegidas en IDECanarias

Se ha actualizado en IDECanarias el Mapa de Especies Protegidas  con la información existente en el Banco de Datos de Biodiversidad de Canarias de la Viceconsejería de Medio Ambiente del Gobierno de Canarias correspondiente al año 2017. Ello significa que hay un aumento de información tanto en distribución en cuadrículas de 500×500 metros, como en datos de taxonomía, correcciones de ubicaciones en territorio, imágenes, etc., procedentes de informes, programas de seguimiento, nuevos artículos científicos y demás fuentes de información, sobre especies silvestres terrestres y marinas y en particular de las especies protegidas. 

El nuevo mapa, publicado en el visor de IDECanarias, devuelve un informe sobre la distribución de las especies protegidas terrestres y marinas en la cuadrícula seleccionada, dicho informe se ha hecho según los criterios de precisión y confianza establecidos  por el Servicio de Biodiversidad de la Consejería.
