El Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas recibe formación sobre el SITCAN

El pasado viernes 9 de marzo diferentes usuarios del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas pertenecientes al Área de Seguridad Ciudadana (Servicio de Emergencias, Policía local, Bomberos y Protección Civil), visitaron la sede de GRAFCAN en Las Palmas, con objeto de recibir formación sobre el Sistema de Información Territorial de Canarias (SITCAN) dentro del marco del convenio suscrito entre el Ayuntamiento y la empresa. 

En el trascurso de la jornada se detallaron las funcionalidades de las principales herramientas de difusión del SITCAN: visor de IDECanarias, listado de servicios, catálogo de metadatos, MAPA, plataforma de formación  y finalmente el visor para móviles. La jornada de presentación causó gran interés para los asistentes que pudieron conocer los diferentes recursos y herramientas que tienen a su disposición para desempeñar su labor. También se planteó la necesidad de plantear futuras reuniones para ver qué herramientas son más adecuadas para abordar determinados escenarios de trabajo que tienen que desarrollar como por ejemplo: creación de capas de incidencias, capas de recursos para emergencias, creación de mapas basados en dicha información, etc.
