Aguascalientes estrena cartografía y ortofotos

En el año 2008 el municipio de Aguascalientes (México) y GRAFCAN suscribieron un convenio de colaboración para el desarrollo de un Sistema de Información Territorial municipal con información confiable, oportuna y actualizada que mejorase las gestión de los recursos y la toma de decisiones. Este convenio se enmarca en el compromiso de las autoridades municipales de dotar a Aguascalientes de una administración moderna, eficaz y transparente.

Traza urbana de Aguascalientes

Tras once  meses de trabajo, el pasado 30 de julio, el Director Gerente de GRAFCAN, Bernardo Pizarro, y el Director General del IMPLAN, Netzahualcóyotl López Flores, entregaron formalmente al alcalde del municipio de Aguascalientes, Gabriel Arellano Espinosa, la ortofoto a escala 1:1.000, la traza urbana 1:1.000 y el Sistema de Información Estadístico. Estos contenidos están ya disponibles en el visor del Sistema de Información Territorial de Aguascalientes.

De esta manera, Aguascalientes pasa a contar con un Sistema de Información único a nivel nacional en lo referente a calidad, exactitud y confiabilidad de sus contenidos.
