Visita de la embajadora de España en Cabo Verde a GRAFCAN

La Embajadora de Cabo Verde en España Doña Caridad Batalla Junco visitó ayer jueves 24 de noviembre la sede de GRAFCAN en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Vino acompañada de Carlos López, responsable de Proyectos de Cooperación Española  y de Johannes Krassnitzer Coordinador Internacional de la Empresa UNDP (United Nations Development Programme). Durante su estancia, recibieron una presentación general a cargo del director y técnicos de la empresa, gracias a la que pudieron conocer el Sistema de Información Territorial de Canarias (SITCAN) y los proyectos más importantes que estamos desarrollando. En el transcurso de la reunión se puso de manifiesto la importancia de la información territorial como punto de partida para plantear nuevas oportunidades económicas y culturales en otros países, así como la importancia de la colaboración en materia de información territorial entre Canarias y Cabo Verde.
